Notable leaker Evan Blass, known by some as evleaks, has revealed a leaked promotional poster for Samsung’s next Unpacked event. Mark your calendars for 10 August 2022, if the poster is to be believed.

The poster, which looks very similar to promotional material for the new M2 MacBook Air, depicts a blurry device. Through advanced means (guessing) we have been able to deduce that the device depicted is the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Which is… exactly what we were expecting.
Details of the Flip 4 and its larger Fold 4 sibling have been circulating since those were leaked in May. Those came from Twitter user @OnLeaks, who has also proven to be a reputable source for these kinds of things.
While Samsung’s next generation of folding smartphones appears, at least on paper and from renders, to be a small improvement over the previous generation, we might be in for more. Leaks of Samsung’s next smartwatch have also been spotted in the wild. Those were courtesy of Blass and 91Mobiles.
While we’re on Samsung leaks, we might also get to see a cheaper fitness tracker from the company or a cheaper range of foldables. We wouldn’t hold your breath for those though. Samsung probably wants more people to buy the expensive nice ones first.
If you are surprised by the date of this event, then you probably missed the last four Q3 Unpacked events that all took place in the first half of August. It is of course still unofficial, but it seems more than a little likely at this point.
