Garmin’s 2022 wearables lineup, including the Fenix 7, has leaked

Garmin 2022 leak

So you want to know what Garmin has in store for your definitely-gonna-lose-weight plans in 2022? Well, you don’t have to wait for anything official to turn up. Basically everything the company has coming has leaked, thanks to German website Winfuture.

Four Garmins

Out in the wild are four Garmin wearables; the Fenix 7 series, the Venu 2 Plus, the Epix Gen2, and the Instinct 2. Images of all the variants have turned up, including the Garmin 7, the 7X and the 7S, in their various colours  (rose gold and kinda white) and finishes (metal and plastic). The Fenix 7 lineup might launch with a solar panel, which’ll help it to last longer on your wrist.

The company’s Epix Gen2 could launch with a dedicated GPS, blood oxygen sensor, heart-rate monitor, and sleep tracking. The Instinct 2 and 2S will land with e-ink displays, movement, sleep, and heart-rate tracking, and, quite possibly, an integrated solar panel. Seems the Garmin Instinct Solar was more popular than we thought.

Then there’s the Garmin Venu 2 Plus. The company’s managed to keep most of the detail about the new device under wraps — at best, it’s known that there will be two different colour variations. It’ll land in black or white. What it does… that’s another story.

We should see an official announcement sometime soon. 5 January 2022 is when CES 2022 kicks off — we’re expecting a proper reveal around that time. After we’ve had a bit of a sleep, please.
