Tesla touts terrain traverser to toddlers

If you were looking for a gift for young Kyle to go with his Monster branded merch this year, Tesla has just launched a mini version of its Cyberquad, an ATV for kids, just in time for the annual holiday shop. Tesla unveiled the regular-sized version of the four-wheeler alongside the Cybertruck in 2019.

Now, it seems it wants to make sure it works as it should by using kids as guinea pigs before launching the big one. No reason to worry though, Elon said it will be the safest ATV in the world. He doesn’t lie, right?

A Cyberquad is perfect for Cyberchristmas

Lies or no, looking at the specs we’d tend to believe him this time. The onboard 36V lithium-ion battery will only allow for speeds up to 16km/h so Kyle won’t be going anywhere fast. It is said to have a range of up to 24km but your mileage may vary.

Other specs include two whole directions of travel, forward and the other way, a cushioned seat, full steel frame and adjustable suspension with rear disc breaks.

The design was taken straight from the Cybertruck design book, and also looks like it was designed with only a pencil and a ruler. If you’re a fan of the Cybertruck, you’ll probably like this. The edges of the body are probably the most dangerous thing about this quadbike. Unless Kyle has a tendency to lick battery terminals.

If you fancy picking one of these up we hope you’re loaded. The chances of one being available in SA are slim. Those chances are helped a lot by fat wads of cash. So you better cough it up, wouldn’t want Kyle to put a hole in your wall.
