While Takealot is still the dominant force when it comes to online shopping, that’s not going to stop Everyshop from giving the titan a run for their money. With the new online retailer launching this morning, Everyshop has announced a range of rather excellent deals. We know, you’re a very busy person so we thought we’d trawl through the new website and source some of the best offers available.
We at Stuff try our best to source only the best deals for you and while we tend to favour tech-based products (obviously), we’ve thrown in a few items that aren’t necessarily powered by tech. What, we can’t appreciate some good furniture at a good price every once in a while? Here are some of the highlights of Everyshop’s launch day:
Nintendo Switch Lite Coral Bundle – R6,000
The Nintendo Switch Lite is still one of the most affordable consoles on the market. It’s a great little device with an absolute treasure trove of excellent games. While you’re looking at paying around R4,500 for a Switch Lite by itself, Everyshop is offering the actual console, a snazzy carry case and two very good games for only R6,000. The games in question include The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Minecraft Dungeons which are both fairly pricey in their own right. The value you’re getting out of this deal is fantastic and shouldn’t be slept on if you’ve been thinking of picking up Nintendo’s latest handheld console.
Samsung 535lt Fridge Freezer – was R16,000, now R12,000
While most people think of smartphones and TVs when they heard the word ‘Samsung’, we’d also like to remind folks that the company makes some excellent fridges. This bad boy is no exception and features a host of cool (heh) tech including All-Round Cooling, a No Frost feature and even comes with a digital inverter so it not only runs more efficiently but silently too. It’s a great deal on a really neat and essential kitchen appliance.
Apple Watch Series 3 GPS 38mm Space Grey – was R4,800, now R3,400
Be honest with yourself, you’ve been looking at purchasing an Apple Watch for a while so why not treat yourself? Sure, the Apple Watch Series 3 is one of the most basic models of the smartwatch but on Everyshop it also costs R600 less than every smartwatch on the iStore. While it may not have all the fancy new bells and whistles of the latest Serues 6, it’s still a great little device that will serve you well… if you lower some of those expectations.
Sony 320W Wireless SW Soundbar – was R4,500, now R3,500
A thousand rand off an excellent soundbar is nothing to scoff at. Sony is known for producing some of the best speakers and audio systems and around and this soundbar is exactly that… if you’re on a budget. Even though this isn’t exactly one of the higher-end soundbars made by Sony, you’ll still be able to enjoy an excellent sound thanks to the wireless subwoofer, the inclusion of the company’s fantastic S-Force PRO Front Sound and a design that just blends neatly into any room.
Samsung 32lt Solo Microwave – was R2,400, now R1,800
So you’ve removed the leftovers that were sitting in your just-bought-it-off-Everyshop fridge for a little too long and now you need to make them edible. You should consider picking up this Samsung microwave for two reasons: 1) it’s a good deal and 2) it’s a good microwave. This little box of heat has a 1000W power output, an advanced range of automatic cook programs and even a child safety lock to prevent the little ones from… microwaving themselves we guess? Or just maybe stop them picking up super-hot things, that could probably be it too.
