KaiOS is an operating system that is very light and effective in how it uses power, which is perfect for feature phones.
A notable phone that runs KaiOS is the MTN Super S that costs a mere R300. KaiOS allows these devices, that would traditionally only text and make calls, to run WhatsApp, YouTube and even Facebook Lite.
