First Apple, the Facebook, now Google. It seems like all the big players are doing it. No, not horrible things with your personal data (though that’s also happening). Nope, Google’s got designs on more money than it already has, with plans to open bank accounts from 2020.
Well so much for the future of game consoles being all-streaming, all the time. Sony’s officially confirmed the name of its next console and has also given us a release window. You can expect to play games on a PlayStation 5 from the “…holidays 2020”. That’s around November/December this end of the world, since we’ve got holidays all over the place.
Research and development and, crucially, rumours about R&D don’t take breaks. That’s why we’re talking about Samsung’s Galaxy S11 already. This is a phone we’re only likely to see in 2020, at (or just before) Mobile World Congress 2020.
Apple is supposed to have an augmented reality headset in development, though the company is being typically close-mouthed about any plans they have in that direction. But folks are on the lookout for signs of Apple’s AR headset, and there is talk that we’re going to see it in 2020.
