The iStore has revealed the forthcoming second-generation AirPods pricing will start from R2,900 and the new iMac from R23,500. Customers can pre-order the new items on the iStore website from today.
Users wanting the new AirPods with the Wireless Charging Case will need to fork out R3,700. The updated wireless earbuds now support the ‘Hey Siri’ wake command to trigger Apple’s digital assistant, and include the California company’s new H1 chip that promises faster connections, up to 50% more talk time, and which enables the new Siri support. Consumers can pre-order the new AirPods over here.
The iMac range now offers up to 8-core Intel 9th-generation processors and updated Vega graphics options. Apple says this delivers “dramatic increases in both compute and graphics performance”.
