You'll often catch me dreaming of a Wind Waker remaster. Or sleeping. One of the two.

“Git gud” is an ideology as old as time itself. It’s something that most don’t like to hear, especially after they’ve just had their behinds whipped for the hundredth time by Margit, the Fell Omen. But there comes a point where you can no longer ignore this fact. Well, with Steam’s latest UI overhaul to the In-Game overlay, players can constantly inundate themselves with the idea. See, the recent In-Game overhaul brought about plenty of changes and upgrades. Most, however, are minor changes under the hood, improving the quality of life for users looking to traverse Skyrim for the tenth…

We’re less than three weeks away from potentially the biggest title in Nintendo’s 133-year history (yeah, that caught us off guard too) – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Coming off the back of Nintendo’s magnum opus, we’re quite confident that it’s got the chops to somehow be even larger in scope than its predecessor. The thing is, we haven’t played Tears of the Kingdom yet (expect a review in due course). We have played Breath of the Wild, a game that was only possible through years and years of experimentation and a complete reinvention of the wheel…

Netflix has released a sneak-peek trailer for season three of The Witcher, though it offers surprisingly little in the way of story. We know that Geralt understands fear and that the five-episode Volume 1 is releasing on 29 June, while Volume 2 – containing the season’s final three episodes – is arriving on Netflix on 27 July. The Witcher Season 3: Wild Hunt “As monarchs, mages and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Cintra into hiding, determined to protect his newly reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical…

Possibly the most requested WhatsApp feature is on the way. If WhatsApp is to be believed (it usually is), the multi-device feature added last year which allowed users to access their accounts from browsers, tablets, and computers is getting an expansion. This time, it’s expanding to extend the device list to support four other smartphones. Multiply that by five Setting up a second device is easy. Once updated, upon opening WhatsApp on a fresh device that isn’t your primary one, a new prompt will appear asking if you’d like to “link to existing account.” That’ll generate a QR code, which…

Stuff loves Opera. More specifically, Opera GX. That means our minds are pretty much open to anything the company throws our direction in the way of browsers. That extends to its latest browser; Opera One – a new, early-access browser that’s got a fresh look and is designed to eventually replace the standard Opera browser some time in the coming year. You’re the One, Neo Opera has said that the revamped, clean look and wide-open sidebars are meant for a “generative AI-based future” though it didn’t really explain what that means. There’s also a new ‘Multithread Compositor’ and design elements…

If you’re tired of losing The Settlers of Catan to your best friend’s wife; it’s time to take back control of the weekly game night with Call of Duty: The Boardgame – an upcoming in-real-life tabletop game spawned from the minds of Activision, Arcane Wonders with some more help from Genuine Entertainment and Evolution. There’s just one problem. Call of Duty: The Boardgame is, for some reason, planning to launch a Kickstarter campaign later this year, with a 2024 release date in mind. It seems that Catan losing streak could plague us for yet another year. ‘We’re not in Catan…

Twitter’s big Blue fiasco Twitter is in hot water. Again. Elon Musk’s $45 billion purchase hasn’t seen the dividends the eccentric billionaire would have liked – specifically in the case of Twitter Blue. Don’t believe us? Open Twitter for more than ten seconds and you’ll start noticing a few more blue ticks plaguing the accounts of unpaying “subscribers.” If you weren’t aware, Twitter recently purged the platform of legacy blue tick holders, claiming that the only way to see the coveted checkmark next to your name was through the $8/m fee. Or being a politician. On Friday and Saturday however,…

WhatsApp’s disappearing messages aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. They get the job done, self-destructing after the set time limit. Great. Now though, well-known lizard-man Mark Zuckerberg has announced an update that’ll let users keep specific disappearing messages. If you think that goes against the entire idea of disappearing messages, you’re absolutely right. Don’t think too hard about it. The Keeper of messages (and voice notes) at Hogwarts Keep calm, everyone (and carry on). Your ex won’t be able to keep any disappearing messages willy-nilly. WhatsApp describes the update as “your new sender superpower” because it keeps the sender…

We’re not expecting Street Fighter 6 to sell particularly well. Not because it’s bad – far from it. But we do have to question Capcom’s thought process when choosing release dates. Not only is it competing with kids’ pocket money (which almost definitely went to Tears of the Kingdom) but it’s going up against the launch of Across the Spider-Verse on its opening day (tickets cost how much?). But that’s okay. Capcom is hoping that its newly released Street Fighter 6 demo can salvage some of the damage. Hadouken! At the time of writing, the Street Fighter 6 demo is…

When we first heard of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, a spin-off to the Bayonetta series, we were sure it couldn’t work. For one, it barely resembles the original entries, replacing the over-the-top, gun-riddled scenario with a more fanciful, light-hearted adventure that puts puzzles and colourful illustrations at the forefront. Second, it replaces the titular character of Bayonetta with a younger, less in-control Cereza that hasn’t yet earned the moniker her guns. We approached Origins with slight reluctance, unsure of whether it could handle such a drastic change of pace while still living up to its name. And…
