E3 2021 has come to an end. This year’s conference was different in many ways from previous years. For starters, like pretty much everything these days, it was hosted entirely online. Turtle Beach, usually known for its gaming headsets, is swimming out into uncharted waters (for them anyway): flight simulation controls. At E3 this year, the company announced that it will release the VelocityOne Flight, a universal flight control system. Archer Aviation has revealed the Maker, its first urban air mobility vehicle prototype, for testing and certification. If all goes well then expect to see a larger production model. Don’t expect to see them here in SA anytime soon, however. In case you missed it, yesterday DICE gave us our first look at Battlefield 2042, the newest addition to the franchise during their live-stream event hosted on YouTube. It came after much speculation and teasing, the last of which was on 1 June. UPDATE: According to Simon Butler, the Chief Commercial Officer at Vumatel, “The outage experienced in Johannesburg this morning was due to a broadcast storm, originating from a third party switch in our Vosloorus POP (Point of Presence).
