Those end-of-year Matric exams are fast-approaching, ready to catapult the class of 2025 into a job, university, or right back to grade 12 next year. If you’d rather that last bit didn’t happen, then listen up. DStv’s Mzansi Wethu, found on channel 163, is looking to help the country’s young ‘uns overcome their exams this year.
Woza Matrics!
It’ll do this through a mixture of live broadcasting (you’ll need access to DStv channel 163) and WhatsApp. Students stuck in a particular field must first send a “Wassup” to the Woza Matrics WhatsApp number (076 640 4885) before asking their question and seeing it discussed and answered live. It beats asking ChatGPT, anyway.
“Mzansi Wethu will be the go-to spot for live exam revision, tips, and study hacks that make sense to Ama-2k,” DStv said in an announcement. “It’s clean, inclusive, spam-free, goal-focused, and it’s just all about helping matriculants study and pass their exams with pride.”
