It’s never easy to get the masses that excited for charging solutions and cables (unless you’re Toby Shapshak), but Anker does okay. It hasn’t quite gone the way of Rolling Square’s minute 100W charger, but the company’s new 10-in-1 Nano Power Strip is certainly cool enough to attract a few stray eyeballs here and there.
Don’t drop Anker
That isn’t simply because of its ten (10!) different ports — 2x USB-C, 2x USB-A, and 6x AC outlets, which is more than enough to encompass your entire desk — but rather how it’ll get you that power. Anker’s cooked up a clever little clamp here, allowing the strip to stay fixed to your desk for simpler cable management and easy access.
It’ll take up less room than an iPhone 17 Pro Max, though not by much. It measures 152mm x 53mm — less, when you consider that this will be reserved for the far reaches of your desk, preferably out of sight. It’s a little thinner than 20mm, and covered in a matte coating to deflect basic scratches. On top sit two AC outlets, while the four USB ports are relegated to the side, ideally facing their owner. Four more outlets cover the sides and underneath.

The Nano Power Strip utilises a pretty handy knob system to control the clamp itself. It’s designed to fit most desks, but will fail to latch onto anything taller than 45mm or shorter than 15mm. Still, it’s not much use if it can’t keep up with 2026 tech. Fortunately, Anker knows this. Owners can get up to 70W of juice out of a single USB-C port, allowing ’em to even charge up a laptop if the outlets are claimed.
It’s Eskom-proof, too, built with 1,500J surge protection in mind, offering your devices a reprieve if needed. The Anker Nano Power Strip isn’t exactly cheap at $70 (∼R1,200), made even less inviting by Anker’s US-only shipping policy. Worry not, for Anker has a South African presence via Orms Direct. It’s still unclear whether we’ll see the company’s 10-in-1 solution locally, but we can dream.
