We’re not even in August yet, and someone has already leaked official Samsung images of the company’s two upcoming foldables, the Z Flip 4 and the Z Fold 4. The products are set to be officially announced at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, taking place on 10 August.
And these aren’t just some random dudes’ dodgy renders either. These are the actual pictures of the devices that were leaked by someone at Samsung. It’s possible Samsung “leaked” the images to get a pre-release buzz going. Still, there’s a slight chance Samsung didn’t intend for these to get out. We can’t confirm that these are completely real. Take everything that follows with a very minor pinch of salt.
ZZZzzz…
Evan Blass posted the images on 91Mobiles, giving us looks at both the Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4. We also got a look at the colours both Z’s are launching in – black, beige, and grey (Z Fold 4) and black, gold, blue, and purple (Z Flip 4). We’re just grateful we didn’t need to type out stuff like Psychedelic Purple or Midnight Void Black for each option. We’re sure the colours will have names similar to these, but we’ll only find that out during the Unpacked event.
Design-wise, Samsung hasn’t wasted much effort on changing it up. Both Z’s look pretty similar to their predecessors. If you were expecting a drastic redesign, then you need to lower your expectations. Like, a lot. But don’t they look beautiful?

Sadly, the images don’t reveal an S-Pen holster or lack thereof. An S-Pen holder has been rumoured for ages now – and it’s going to stay that way until 10 August. What we can see is that there’s a triple-lens camera on the Fold 4 – with the same camera bumps as the previous iteration. The Flip 4 features a dual-lens camera across the black strip across the back (which is also making a return from the Flip 3)
These are just images. We have no confirmation of what going on under the hood. There have been rumours floating around for ages, but nothing here gives any of that away. Only time will tell. Or perhaps someone inside Samsung will give the world the scoop on that. Again.
