It feels like we’re writing more and more about how DStv is doing its absolute best to stay within the current conversation. You might not know this, but Multichoice isn’t exactly super popular with the masses of South Africa so the abundance of new deals and special offers seems to indicate that the service provider is trying its hardest to convince people to not cancel their subscriptions. Maybe a discount will do the trick! A discount on…online education courses?
Multichoice’s latest offering will see DStv Premium members gaining access to 600 free online courses on a range of topics following its partnership with Udemy. The online education service will be accessible through the DStv app and will remain visible for Premium members until the end of July. But wait, there’s more! DStv Premium subscribers will also receive a $5 voucher for any of Udemy’s paid online courses which is…neat, we guess?
For those of us who don’t feel like educating ourselves and, you know, growing as individuals, Multichoice has us covered for that too. For DStv Compact and Compact Plus, subscribers can cash in on a pretty huge Showmax subscription discount, costing them only R49 for a “pay for a month and get a month free” deal until 30 June. Considering that May is more than halfway over, that’s only really a discount for a single month, but at least it’s something, right?
Yet there’s even more! Ever looked at that dusty old DStv Box Office and wondered if you’d ever actually put it to use? Well, now you, and by “you” we mean DStv BoxOffice PVR Premium, will receive one BoxOffice movie credit a week until the end of June 2020. So that means these lucky ducks will be able to rent four of the latest movies, rationing them down to one a week for a month, of course.
Lastly, DStv Access subscribers will now have an additional 21 channels available to them for free until 14 June. The “buckshot” approach to these kinds of deals is certainly difficult to keep track of but why not just take advantage of them while you can?
