You'll often catch me dreaming of a Wind Waker remaster. Or sleeping. One of the two.

Twitter is fiddling with experimental features again. This time around it’s letting two accounts co-author a tweet. The feature, named ‘CoTweets’ , is already testing on a select few accounts in the US, Canada, and Korea. ‘CoTweeting’ is designed to allow two separate accounts to be linked under one single tweet. The tweet will appear on both authors’ timelines. While it’s possible that regular users will be able to CoTweet, the feature seems to focus on brand accounts. Share a Tweet, share the cred. Now testing CoTweets, a new way to Tweet together. pic.twitter.com/q0gHSCXnhv — Twitter Create (@TwitterCreate) July 7,…

This October, Lego is set to release a 2,807-piece Bowser – the largest in the Super Mario line thus far. The Great Demon King is releasing under Lego’s Adults Welcome line, meant to try to entice more adults to participate in Lego. As if they need the temptation. And if you’re being honest, would you buy this for your kid? No! You’d keep it for yourself. The trick is bringing your child with you to the toy shop so nobody throws weird looks your way. One look at The Mighty Bowser shows that it’s a step above the rest of…

Two days ago, peripheral maker Nacon held its Nacon Connect event, in which the French company gave us teasers for a few of its upcoming games. We saw a glimpse of Steelrising, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, and several other games. Perhaps most interesting was the teaser for an upcoming open-world Terminator game. Based on the 30-second trailer, we can confirm that yes, it looks about a million times better than Gollum does. Although, it isn’t hard to beat. I’ll be ba… releasing sometime in the future… We now know there’s an upcoming Terminator game. What else? Well, not…

Get ready South Africa. The Instax Mini Link 2 is coming to South Africa. The Link 2 has some big shoes to fill following in its older sibling’s wake – which saw a release in 2019. The Mini Link was a simple solution for printing on the go, and Link 2 wants to improve on that. The main improvement here is the addition of InstaxAIR. AIR allows would-be printers to connect to the dedicated Link 2 app and make changes to their photos. Essentially, the Mini Link 2 allows you to add a filter to your actual printout – like…

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve used the Dynabook Satellite Pro (C50-J-10V) as our go-to laptop. The Dynabook came pre-loaded with Windows 11, which was a strange experience At least at first. Coming from Windows 10, 11 felt different. Not much has changed, but it takes some getting used to. After a day or two, we found that we much preferred it to the previous iteration. Plain sailing The Dynabook is interesting because of how… uninteresting it looks. It’s certainly not ugly. It’s just a 15.7in screen surrounded by an ordinary-looking body. Picture a plain black laptop in your…

With South Africa having only just ended its national lockdown, plenty of people have begun feeling a return to normality. There are no more masks, no limits on gatherings, and travel no longer requires certification of vaccination to travel. Because of this, travel has started going back to how it was two years ago. Uber knows this and sees an opportunity to capitalize on a sudden boom in travel. Earlier this year Uber launched a ‘Reserve’ option – which allows users to book a ride in advance. Building on that, Uber has launched ‘Reserve at Airports’ in an effort to…

HTC announced a new tablet, the A101 Tablet, but oddly enough.. only for the African markets. The A101 launch comes on the heels of HTC’s latest phone, the HTC Desire 2022 Pro. But if you were expecting HTC to offer anything other than base specs for an Android tablet, then prepare to be disappointed. HTC’s A101 feels like it would sell pretty well – in 2016. But, maybe that’s the point. The fact that HTC is only selling the A101 in emerging markets is telling. Africa is generally poorer than other continents and is less able to afford higher-end tablets.…
