You'll often catch me dreaming of a Wind Waker remaster. Or sleeping. One of the two.

DStv and MultiChoice have officially confirmed that its long-awaited Streama TV box will launch on 30 September this year. The announcement was made last week, with the company explaining that the box had once again been delayed. The Streama was initially announced back in August 2020 but has faced many delays since. MultiChoice blamed the current silicon chip shortage for its latest postponement. The delays seem to be over for DStv and MultiChoice, however. The company has finally decided on a date of 30 September to release the Streama. DStv’s Streama-ing wars If you aren’t sure what the Streama will…

Telegram, the popular messaging app, is going pay-to-message with a Premium tier subscription service later this month. This isn’t to say the subscription isn’t optional – because it is. The Premium subscription will include “additional features, speed and resources,” according to Telegram founder Pavel Durov. News of a Premium subscription has been around for quite some time now. It was only last month when we saw some of the possible features coming to a Premium model which leaked through the iOS 8.72 beta. If you’re an avid Telegram user who doesn’t want to pay any fees, that’s fine. Any features…

The entire world has been feeling the effects of fuel prices lately, and South Africa is no exception. It’s due to a number of factors — the current war in Ukraine, corruption, oil shortages, and corruption again. South Africa is looking for a way around these prices, and it may have a solution – an electric minibus taxi. Yesterday, a team of South African companies and engineers announced that they were investigating the viability of an electric minibus taxi. And it makes sense too – South African commuters are, largely, reliant on taxis. While people with their own cars consider…

You may remember the backlash DStv faced back in March when the company announced it would be limiting streaming to one device at a time. This meant if two family members wanted to watch Liverpool lose to Real Madrid on two screens (for maximum impact), they couldn’t. There is some good news, though. DStv says it has plans to increase the number of streams allowed per household. It’s not all doom and gloom. Get that chin up. DStv wasn’t just hurting its lower-tier subscribers when it began limiting simultaneous streams. Every customer on every package was given the same restrictions.…

A bike that will handle snow, sand, and water without a hitch. The creators of the Ultra Bike are a company known as Robo Systems – a team of engineers setting out to build…

Fast charging is something Vivo tends to pride itself on, with 120W charging becoming the company’s standard for its latest smartphones. But if the reports are true, it looks like Vivo could be leveling up its game once again. Rumours indicate that a 200W charger has just been certified in China, with Vivo beginning production on the chargers. If we were to see a 200W charger, it could be released along with Vivo’s iQOO 10 Pro smartphone. We could even see the smartphone before the end of the year. We could also see a 65W wireless fast-charge feature with the…

Google is making its own Assistant a lot less useful over the coming days. For some reason known only to Google, its handy location-based reminder feature is leaving us forever. A location-based reminder was a useful feature for those that needed reminding when arriving at a certain location. For example, you could ask Google Assistant to remind you to take the chicken out of the freezer when you get home. You’d get a notification once you arrived home, and nobody would be in trouble for forgetting to defrost the chicken. Soon, however, you’ll have to remember that yourself. Why Google,…

After ages of speculation, Capcom has finally revealed its Resident Evil 4 Remake during Sony’s State of Play showcase. That doesn’t mean it’ll be a PlayStation exclusive, though.
