Ryan Reynolds may have tried a little too hard where the Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket is concerned in a bid to out-Denis that horrific Dune bucket (that we can’t stop thinking about), but Van Wilder has just upped his marketing game. Think we’re overselling it? Then you haven’t seen Deadpool’s bahookie on a controller yet, have you?

Yup. That’s Deadpool’s ass right on the back of an Xbox controller – exactly where you’d expect the batteries to go. The aptly named “Cheeky Controller” is all dolled up in the Merc with a Mouth’s red and black suit, with plenty of material to cover up the cake fixed to the controller’s back. We’d be lying if we said we weren’t extremely keen on giving it a squeeze. To help us out in XDefiant, of course.
There’s even a Deadpool-themed Xbox Series X to celebrate the occasion, complete with a stand sporting his katanas (Bea and Arthur) at its back. And it’s about as gorgeous as you’d expect – minus the blatant Deadpool & Wolverine branding slapped right on the front.

Unfortunately, like the pizza-smelling TMNT controller, or the masterful piece of art that is the Diablo IV Series X (we don’t even like thinking about those fur-clad Sonic controllers), Xbox has cooked up something special, only to give it away to one lucky fan over the age of 18. So no, you won’t be able to simply buy Deadpool’s cheeks.
Instead, you’ll need to enter a sweepstakes and pray that you’re looked upon kindly by the giveaway gods. Whoever that person is, will win that beautiful Xbox Series X as well as two of the Deadpool–themed controllers (as well as the Bea and Arthur katana stand). Entrants must be over 18, and be a legal resident within an Xbox Console-supported country, which South Africa fortunately is.
