Nintendo has found another way to wriggle some money out of us, and we’re sorry (for our wallets) to say it just might work. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s soundtrack will receive a vinyl release in 2026 with the help of Laced Records in the form of a double-LP and a deluxe, eight-LP box that’ll set you back £145 (∼R3,300).
“Breath of the Wild is one of the first major Nintendo soundtracks being made available on vinyl outside of Japan, and these collections highlight the game’s distinct musical palette, created by composers Manaka Kataoka, Yasuaki Iwata, Hajime Wakai and Soshi Abe – from the gentle piano that underscores the open world exploration to the rhythmic tension of enemy battles to the alien sounds that accompany Sheikah technology.”
Tears of the Kindgom when?
It doesn’t help that the box set is absolutely gorgeous. Almost worse, the Breath of the Wild soundtrack is easily one of the best in modern gaming, which almost makes Nintendo’s shenanigans worth the R3,300.
Inside the double-LP set comes 34 “select tracks,” which include “Overworld (Day),” “Great Fairy Fountain,” and “Hyrule Castle” — “all chosen to create an aural landscape that transports listeners back to the final days of the Great Calamity.” The eight-LP box set features 130 tracks, with each pressing centred around a specific theme, meant to mirror the progression of the player traversing Hyrule.

Limited-edition discs are available, though only if you pre-order the sets from Laced Records. The double-LP set features blue-and-white marbled heavyweight discs, while the eight-LP set offers “alternative” blue and gold splatter effect heavyweight discs. Standard black versions “will be available at select retailers upon release.”
Both Breath of the Wild sets are currently available for pre-order at Laced Records and will become available on 19 June 2026. The eight-LP box set is available for £145 (∼R3,300), while the double-LP sells for £36 (∼R800). The company confirmed that it ships everywhere, excluding Brazil.
