If touching grass isn’t your cup of tea, it’s high time you tried out League of Legends. Or anything else Riot Games has made, really. But if you’re the owner of a PC Game Pass subscription, you can now try out its games there. You can also try them out without Game Pass since they’re all free. That’s how Riot catches its victims players.
But if you play them through PC Game Pass, you’ll gain access to loads of free in-game content. That’s because Microsoft and Riot Games have teamed up to bring all of Riot’s “biggest PC and mobile titles” to PC Game Pass. Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, and League of Legends are now on the service.
Free stuff?
Valorant, League of Legends, and Wild Rift (LoL Mobile) will come standard with all agents/champions already unlocked. Any new agents that are released post-Game Pass team-up will automatically be available. Legends of Runeterra players can instantly access all cards part of the Foundations Set.
All the games on offer each come with unique skins and XP boosts where applicable. Both League games and Valorant have a 20% XP boost added automatically.
More swag is available to those that move fast and connect their Microsoft and Riot Games accounts together before 1 January. Here’s a list of the rewards;

Connecting the dots (and accounts)
To get hold of these benefits, you’ll have to connect your Riot Games and Microsoft accounts together. Fortunately, the process is quite simple. Find the Xbox App on your PC and make sure it’s fully up to date. Find any of Riot’s games and click to play. Install it, and click play.
A pop-up will appear to guide you through the rest of the steps. This is where you’ll be asked to input some personal information. If you don’t already have a Riot Games account, the pop-up will guide you through this process as well.
Then you’ve just got to wait for the confirmation email. That can take 24 hours. We suggest you use that time constructively. This should help you practice.
