Last weekend, we saw the beginning of the 2022/2023 football season in Italy and Spain, or rather the Serie A and La Liga. For years, European football in South Africa has been confined to a DStv subscription. Well, no longer, friends. Showmax Pro has added the Serie A and La Liga rights to the streaming service, chipping away at DStv’s exclusivity. It’s still all Multichoice, but it’s the thought that counts.
Turning a corner
Adding two of Europe’s biggest domestic leagues is a huge play for Showmax. Showmax Pro gives customers a way to watch these sports without needing a second mortgage on their homes. And the ability to stream matches makes it all the better.
