Jaguar Land Rover has announced that its cars will run on electric power by the year 2025.
Wait, hold your horses.
That’s not to say that every Jaguar or Land Rover you see on the road will be electrically-powered by 2025; Lord knows the road-life of even one of these vehicles released in the last ten years may shoot past that date.
This is to say that Jaguar Land Rover has committed to offering electric-cars alongside the vehicles it currently has on offer. Well, if this tweet from its official account is anything to go by:
Thierry Bolloré, CEO, launches new Reimagine strategy.
See us reimagine the future of modern luxury. Over the next five years, @LandRover will welcome six all-electric variants and @Jaguar will undergo a renaissance as a pure electric luxury brand.https://t.co/EcJzaiSk9Y pic.twitter.com/Lp1DdKeuBB

According to a report on The Next Web, the motoring conglomerate is planning to release six all-electric vehicles by 2025, which will be offered alongside its current range. The first of these vehicles is in the pipeline for 2024.
Apparently Jaguar Land Rover is shifting its manufacturing model to a three model platform that will be electric focused. Here’s hoping more EV filling stations pop up in the wake of this announcement.
