These are iStore’s Black Friday deals

iStore has unveiled its Black Friday 2018 specials, and they include special pricing for everything from iPhones and Apple Watches to MacBooks and even DJI drones.

If you’re not one to deal with crowds you’ll be pleased to know the iStore’s deals are available online on the day too. Another upshot is that the specials are available from Friday 23 November (D-day) to Sunday 25 November, so you’ll have ample time to take advantage of them. While their stocks last, that is. Most of the products are also limited to the first however-many people, depending on the product. So, if you’re in the market for any of them, we suggest you act fast.

Apple-licious deals

Last year’s coveted iPhone X (the 64GB variation) will go for R15,000, that’s down from the normal R17,500. You’ll also be able to get the iPhone 8 (64GB) for R11,000, down from R13,000.

The budget-friendly iPhone SE will only cost R4,000 if you’re looking for an entry-level iPhone. Also, we suspect this may be the last of the iStore stock, as the SE is due to be phased out globally.

Wearables-wise, the Apple Watch Series 3 (38mm) is priced at R5,000, which saves you R800. The larger 42mm watch is priced at R5,500.

Designers will be ecstatic to know that any purchase of an iPad (6th gen) will come with a free Apple Pencil (which normally retails for R2,000 on its own). The 6th generation iPads will start from R6,000 for the base 32GB model.

If you’ve been on the lookout for a TV-box, the Apple TV (4th gens) will be priced at R2,000. If you want the 4K version… sorry for you, that one’s not getting any of the discount love.

The MacBook Air 13in bundle, meanwhile, which includes free iCare for Mac, the Microsoft Office suite, and a QDOS Privacy Screen, will set you back R15,000.

Gimme the peripherals… and drones

Firstly, iStore is a certified retailer for DJI, and is probably one of the best places to get your drone kit this Black Friday. The DJI Spark Fly More Combo will cost R10,900, and includes a controller, two extra batteries, a storage box, and shoulder bag.

For the not-so-professional droners, the DJI Tello will be on sale for R1,700 (down from its usual R2,000).

The Beats Solo 3 wireless headphones will cost R3,000, down 25% from the usual R4,000. And you’ll be able to get the Powerbeats earphones for R2,000.

Speaking about beats, erm, we mean music — the JBL Charge 3 speaker will cost R2,000 and is a great wireless speaker/charger combination.

The Belkin Boost Up wireless charging pad will cost R600, not bad for a wireless charger… if you’ve got those wireless-charge-supporting glass-backed devices, that is.

iStore will also offer some stellar deals with Vodacom on a few contracts that include Apple products, so we strongly suggest y’all take a look at the website when Black Friday arrives (the stores may be unsafe for humans).
