The Apple Nike+ Watch drops in SA on 28 October

You know that the Apple Watch Series 2 is already out and that the Series 1 is also on the market but you’ve been waiting. Why? Because you’re after the Nike+ Watch, obviously. And, if you’re a South African shopper who doesn’t hold with importing just so you can be first, then your crack at the Apple Nike+ Watch is going to be happening this week. The wristwear will be dropping on 28 October — that’s the end of this week.

nike-watchThe Apple Nike+ Watch will start in South Africa at R6,900 for the 38mm version (meaning we weren’t far off in our original estimates at the device’s announcement) while the 42mm Watch will suck R7,500 out of your wallet.

A range of colour and strap options will be available. The cases will come in either Silver or Space Grey and buyers will be able to attach Flat Silver/White, Flat Silver/Volt, Black/Cool Grey, or Black/Volt (the very Nike neon seen above) strap options to suit the rest of the running gear that they go to the shopping mall in.

Provided, that is, you can get your hands on one. According to Core, stock will be “extremely limited” at launch. That must be why the iStore website currently has them listed as ‘Unavailable Online’. You’re going to have to visit a physical store for one of these, at least at launch.
