iOS 7.1 thought to be releasing next month

Apple might be dropping iOS 7.1 on users some time in March, according to a report from Apple-centric website 9to5Mac. The claim comes by way of unnamed but “reliable” sources and it seems that Apple won’t be giving users any surprises with the OS update when it lands.

Some of the expected changes when iOS 7.1 makes its appearance are: a collection of visual settings like dropping wallpaper and parallax while retaining folder animations, alterations to the dialler and the Music app, as well as a host of bug-fixes for the operating system. A reboot bug will reportedly be addressed and there should be some stability changes as well.

Since the fifth beta of the update has been released to developers already, the timeline given by 9to5Mac isn’t difficult to believe at all. There is talk that iOS 8 is in the works as well, but this will do for now.
