This week in gaming – 19 October 2013

It’s actually been a fairly quiet week for Stuff on the gaming front. There have been some alterations with regards to release dates for French developer/publisher Ubisoft and then just a couple of (very high scoring) reviews of games from Rockstar and Blizzard.

Does that mean you didn’t miss much? Not necessarily but in case it passed you by earlier this week, here are the highlights in gaming from Stuff.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag sets sail on 29 October

Assassin’s Creed IV’s South African release (the only one Stuff is that concerned with) has been moved up a few days to fall in line with the rest of the world. There have also been changes to the release dates for the PlayStation 4, PC and Wii U versions of the stabby series. [More]

Ubisoft’s Watch_Dogs, The Crew delayed until 2014

While Assassin’s Creed fans may have been pleased that AC IV is being moved up, those who have been eagerly awaiting some hands-on time with a new title from Ubisoft have seen their Festive Season activities halted by Ubi’s announcement that two titles, Watch_Dogs and The Crew, have been delayed until the start of Ubisoft’s next fiscal year.
