If you are in the market for a new TV then do we have something for you. Although, it wouldn’t really be fair to call Samsung’s 2021 version of ‘The Wall’ a TV. But if you’re still interested, then start making some space in your living room.

Measuring in at 1,000in or just over 25 metres, this display is definitely aimed at business or commercial environments rather than households, but you could still technically mount it in your home cinema if you have space.

Improvements over the 2020 version include LEDs that are 40% smaller, which according to Samsung means higher colour uniformity and higher picture contrast. On top of that Samsung is boasting a new Micro AI processor which it says will further improve picture quality and remove digital noise.

Samsung could build a house with this thing

The modular display has a resolution of 8K (7,680 x 4,320) and a refresh rate of 120Hz but we doubt it will do very well for gaming. Its modular panel design means it can be configured in a variety of different arrangements like concave, convex, or hung, mounted to a ceiling, or an ‘L’ shape. You could even opt for an ultrawide 15,360 x 2,160 16K config.

The Samsung press release mentions that they are available “in select markets around the globe” but did not mention a price. Something tells us that if you want to put one of these in your home then it’s going to be a case of ‘if you have to ask how much it costs, it’s not for you.’
