Just in time: Mr D Food partners with FNB to up your eBucks

Calling all eBucks addicts, because FNB has announced that it’ll now partner with Mr D Food app to bring you even more rewards.

Mr D Food joins the likes of Checkers, Uber and Uber Eats as a rewards partner. “Customers can now earn and spend eBucks when ordering from the Mr D Food App with their qualifying FNB/RMB Private Bank Accounts,” reads the announcement.

To start gaining valuable eBucks, you’ll need to activate the rewards option in the app. Also, keep in mind that this is only available in the app, and not on the web platform. Head to MrD, choose your fave restaurant, line up the main meals, pay with your FNB (or RMB) card/account in-app, and opt-in to earn eBucks by choosing the ‘Earn eBucks’ option. You’ll need to enter your SA ID number to confirm you’re the real human behind the account.

What happens next? You receive your favourite meal and gain some eBucks while eating it. “We are very excited about this partnership with FNB and eBucks Rewards. A large number of our app users are FNB banked customers and we’ve seen these numbers grow exponentially by over 400% in the past 24 months. This collaboration means customers will now be rewarded for their orders or they can use their eBucks to buy meals from our assorted partner restaurants across South Africa,” says Devin Sinclair, CEO of Mr D Food.

You know what’s the best part of this whole announcement? The fact that you won’t need to leave your property to gain access to lekker food while earning eBucks
