Samsung has two events. One is Galaxy Unpacked, for its flagship devices. The other is Galaxy Awesome, for its Galaxy A devices. We’ve had the one, now it’s time for the other. The South Korean company has issued invitations for its upcoming “Awesome Galaxy A Event“, which’ll take place on 17 March. That’s… well, that’s this week.
And, as with last year’s event, expect this one to be a little hard to follow if it was a while since you were in high school. How do we know this? Well, Samsung gets a little Gen Z-happy for these events. And we all know how hard it can be to understand those highly tolerant piranas sometimes.
Understanding Galaxy A
The Galaxy A73 and A53 are expected to turn up at the event. There are more phones in the stable, but the company tends to save space for its headliners. Any more budget devices will receive second billing, while the pair mentioned will have a more in-depth examination taking place. Expect both devices to arrive with 5G support this year, while the A73 should be the larger of the two phones.
Samsung’s done an interesting bit of marketing trickery by literally calling their event the “Awesome Galaxy A Event”. That should do wonders for their SEO and brand positioning. As ever, it’ll be broadcast on Samsung’s website and its YouTube channel, on 17 March at 16h00 South African Standard Time (SAST).
