Samsung’s S21 Ultra 5G pre-order bonuses might have leaked over the weekend

Samsung’s first Unpacked event for 2021 is nigh — really nigh, as in later this week. As is now traditional, there are more and more leaks taking place. The newest leak claims to know what sort of pre-order goodies Samsung is offering for its handsets, from the top-end Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G right down to the vanilla S21.

And the best part about this leak is that one of these items isn’t official as yet. The other, however, is definitely already on sale (even if it’s officially still a secret).

Making the S21 Ultra 5G even sweeter

Samsung’s supposedly offering quite a deal for those who pre-order its S21 Ultra 5G. The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro are packaged as a pre-order bonus, according to leaked marketing materials for the handset, as is the company’s new Galaxy SmartTag. The SmartTag, a take on the Tile, has been rumoured but has only really leaked in images at this point. Expect it to be a little Bluetooth doodad that helps you keep track of your kit, if you’re the absent-minded type.

A SmartTag is a given, whether you opt for the S21 Ultra, the S21 Plus or the stock S21, according to Twitter user @TheGalox_. But only the biggest smartphone will net you the Buds Pro — other orders will see buyers laying hands on the Galaxy Buds Live, which we were rather fond of last year.

It’s not certain but the leak claims that most countries will feature the same pre-order bonuses. This seems like a nice batch to have, so we’re hoping for a little parity between overseas countries and South Africa for a change.
