That Epson Ecotank L5190, worth R5700, is going to this new home

Just before South Africa’s lockdown kicked off, we started up a giveaway for an Epson Ecotank L5190 printer. We’ve been sitting on the winner’s details because, well… nobody’s been allowed to go out and deliver it to our lucky winner. That’s all changed now.

Many of us’ll be working from home for a while longer, so an addition like the Epson L5190 is bound to be a welcome one. Unfortunately we only have one to give away — which is a pity because it’s an excellent piece of office hardware. Everyone should have one. Because of this giveaway, one person does.

Before we get to that, here is some detail on how the competition draw works. Winner’s names are drawn randomly by a computer that has been fed everyone’s names. Once the name has been drawn, the entry is examined to see whether the question has been answered correctly (our system isn’t that smart, yet) and, if it hasn’t been, the draw is discarded and a new winner is drawn. That’s it. Unless you work for Stuff Magazine in one way or another, in which case you were disqualified before you even started.

But that’s not what you’ve come here for. You’re here to find out who won the blasted printer. So here we go.

Our winner is… Imraan Dhoda

Congratulations to Imraan. Check out your inbox, we just need to confirm a few details so your prize can be sent. And if you were one of the many (many) entrants who didn’t win, don’t despair. We’ve got something else turning up on these pages shortly.
