It’s Friday afternoon (for the moment), you’re probably thinking about heading home for the weekend and work is the last thing on your mind. We’re not psychic but we can totally sympathise, which is why we’re going to give you something to do instead of your job. Elon Musk sat down with Re/Code‘s Kara Swisher recently for an interview, which is now available as a podcast (pretty much everywhere podcasts are sold stored).
The interview ranges all over the place, from Elon fighting with journalists to the year 2018 (which has been ‘fun’ so far, hasn’t it?), to more business-oriented topics like what Tesla’s crunch times do to Musk and his employees, upcoming Tesla vehicles (including a cyberpunk pickup that Elon Musk just wants for himself — but he’ll sell one to you if you like it), Mars, the Space Force, The Boring Company, SpaceX’s competitors, what’s coming next, and the fact that Tesla is never going to make a scooter. An electric motorcycle, maybe, but a scooter? Yeah, that’s not going to happen while Elon’s making the decisions.
That’s a very quick way to explain an hour and twenty minutes of talking and your Friday will be better off if you skip what you were doing and listen to Elon Musk instead. It’s not like you were going to do any work anyway.
