A look at the Coral Blue Galaxy Note 7 ahead of August reveal

The Galaxy Note 7 doesn’t have many secrets left to hide. We already know what it’s going to be packing, though there’s still a tiny bit of room for error, and we’re more or less set on what the smartphone will look like. It’s just a matter of picking a colour and if the render for the Coral Blue Galaxy Note 7 is anything to go by, we may have a winner.

Note 7 leaked renderThe render comes by way of noted leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks), as part of a larger article about how Samsung is taking somewhat of a risk by releasing a curved screen-only Galaxy Note 7, and the move’s implications for the smartphone industry as a whole.

The Coral Blue Note 7 render doesn’t tell us anything new about the handset itself. The metal edging is very familiar to anyone who has handled the Galaxy S6 or S7 and the curved display looks about how you’d expect it to. The new colouring is the eye-catcher here, especially with the matching stylus, and if we were going to go for a new Note handset this year, the Coral Blue would be our first pick. Visually speaking, that is.

On the specs front, all the official data will be revealed on 2 August, a date that is filling up faster than a clown-car at a circus. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for any surprises at all (if any) and we’ll have all the details for you right here.
