iPhone 6, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 show off Touch ID sensors

Apple just can’t seem to keep its products under wraps these days.

The iPhone 6 has appeared in a number of renders and photos, while a leaked snap of the iPad Air 2 showed up last week, revealing that it will sport a Touch ID fingerprint scanner.

Now Taiwanese reseller Apple Club (via MacRumors) has snapped a photo showing Apple’s entire line-up of new phones and tablets, including the iPad mini 3 – which, unsurprisingly, looks set to feature the Touch ID sensor too.

What can we deduce from the image? Well, the iPhone 6 tallies with all the leaks and speculation we’ve seen so far, with a power button on the right hand side of the screen, a larger display.

Aside from the Touch ID sensor, both the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 resemble the existing models; no surprise, since Apple tends to change up its design language on a two-year cycle.

Apple’s pushing Touch ID heavily; at its recent iOS 8 launch, it revealed that the new version of its mobile operating system will support Touch ID sign-in for third-party apps, opening up a range of applications including in-app payments.

So when will we see Apple’s new line-up in the flesh? Previous iPhone launches have taken place in September, while the previous iPad Air launched in October and the iPad mini with Retina Display appeared in October. Despite the appearance of all three devices in one photo, we’d expect Apple to follow a similar launch cycle this year; we’ll likely find out exactly what Apple has in store for the iPhone 6 in September.
