Will Samsung’s next Galaxy Note sport a quad HD display?

Samsung is expected to show the world the next Galaxy Note smartphone later this year, in September at the IFA conference in Berlin, and one of the features of the oversized smartphone was rumoured to be a 1440p display. That theory has just gotten a little more evidence, in the form of an XML document related to an unannounced phone posted online by Samsung themselves.

According to the document, the device will boast a 2,560 x 1440 display. The model number for the device in question is SM-N910A, which is closely related to the AT&T version of the Galaxy Note 3 which has a designation of SM-N900A.

There’s no confirmation that the data posted online really is related to the Note 4 and there’s little info beyond the display resolution and that there will be an ARM 11 processor hiding in there. It certainly seems to jibe with other rumours concerning the device however, so it looks like the speculation is on target. Again.
