LG Netherlands publishes, retracts product page and specs for LG G3

We’re expecting an official reveal of LG’s G3 smartphone later today but LG Netherlands seems to have jumped the gun and given us the details a little early. The official website noticed their mistake and pulled the information (the page is no longer active) but not before the specs were recorded and images were pulled from the site.

The specs for the G3 from the Netherlands leak are almost a disappointment when compared to other, earlier leaks so there is some speculation that the device detailed is a regional release that won’t be making its way to the global market but there’s no way of knowing if this is accurate until LG does the whole official thing.

According to LG Netherlands, the G3 will be a 5.5-inch, 2560 x 1440 device, as was expected. The listed product was to feature 2GB of system memory and 16GB of storage, a drop from the expected 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage out of the box. There will be a Snapdragon processor but it seems to be slower than the Snapdragon 805 everyone was hoping for. There’s still a chance that LG will have a turbocharged model that will feature the expected tech, however.

A 13MP camera with laser autofocus rounds out what the latest leak has detailed. We’ll be keeping tabs on LG’s announcement for some officially official details later today.
