Razer listened to what the wireless earbud gamers have (presumably) been asking for, and will provide them with another edition to the Hammerhead range, the Hammerhead True Wireless X.
The new buds lack the THX certification and active noise cancellation of the Wireless Pros, and the IP rating of the True Wireless non-X. They do, however, feature 13mm custom-tuned drivers and a 60ms low-latency gaming mode.

They also have most of the features you would expect from wireless earbuds in 2021. Each earbud comes with customisable LED-backlit touch controls (which could go well with your Razer masks) where you can manage calls, volume control, and enable the gaming mode. These are all much easier to do in the mobile app though. Good luck getting the triple tap just right to enable gamer mode.
As far as compatibility goes, they support Google Fast Pair on supporting Android devices as well as auto-pairing with Bluetooth 5.2 devices. According to Razer, you’re looking at around 6 hours of battery life with lighting effects on, extended to 24 hours with a couple of case charges, 7 and 28 hours without the lighting.
These are already on sale overseas, so we should get them here in SA in the coming weeks like most tech products. That’s if we get ’em.
