Welcome to the next round of the rumour mill. This time we’ve got details on the iPhone SE2. And of course, there’s an analyst (Ming-Ching Kuo) involved. According to Kuo, we’ll see the SE2 in January next year, and it’ll pack similar tech to the iPhone 11.
It’ll also sport a familiar design. No, not the giant notch Apple introduced with the X, but rather the old iPhone 8 design and form factor. Under the hood, it’ll be powered by Apples brilliant A13 chip. Yeah, the one it’s got in the iPhone 11-range.
Kuo also said in a note seen by MacRumours that the iPhone SE2 will also pack 3GB of RAM, and it’ll feature a 4.7in display as well as a Touch ID home button.
Kuo is convinced the iPhone SE2 will be the natural upgrade choice for current iPhone 6 owners. Especially those who are after the increased power but don’t want to invest in an iPhone 11. Fair enough.
