With BMW, high-tech features come standard

There are lots of reasons BMW drivers love their cars. For some, it’s the sheer driving pleasure offered by precision engineering, passionate design and attention to detail. For others, it’s the numerous creature comforts that combine to create vehicles that are as luxurious as they are engaging to drive. But for the technologically minded, there’s another reason they chose BMW: the cutting-edge technology offered across the range.

So connected, you’re free
BMW ConnectedDrive has led the market in intelligent connectivity for the past two decades. It connects you to your vehicle and the world. From 3-year free map updates to Real Time Traffic Information, to your favourite entertainment apps, ConnectedDrive is unlike any other connected-car system on the market. Your life is connected, why shouldn’t your car be, too?

Control remotely
With BMW Remote Services Control, it’s possible to lock or unlock your car from the comfort of your smartphone or smartwatch. But that’s not all, activate and adjust climate control, check essential vehicle information, and ensure your car is ready to go before you even get into it. As for where you’re going? BMW Concierge Services can help you match your plans to your mood.

From option to feature
ConnectedDrive started in 1998 with “BMW Telematics”. By 2014, a built-in SIM card made it possible to book and pay for online services from the comfort of the car via the BMW ConnectedDrive Store. And now, in 2018, the new Remote Software Upgrade feature enables vehicles to be automatically supplied with the latest software updates via the owner’s mobile phone.

ConnectedDrive is currently available in 45 countries and there are already over 10 million connected BMW vehicles on the world’s roads today. That number’s only going to grow, because now ConnectedDrive comes standard across the BMW range.
