Apple’s iPhone X dated for South Africa

We’ve been waiting for this one: Apple’s iPhone X will be launching in South Africa on 24 November, according to an official announcement from the company. But don’t feel too special, there are several other countries involved too.

And those countries are Albania, Bosnia, Cambodia, Kosovo, Macau, Macedonia, Malaysia, Montenegro, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand and Turkey, who are joining us in joining the existing 50-plus nations who already have the iPhone X on sale.

South Africa will be getting the iPhone X from 24 November, the date much of the shopping world knows better as Black Friday — though we wouldn’t expect any massive deals on the handset. It’s brand new, after all and expected to cost around R20,000 at launch.

South Africa’s local Apple distributor hasn’t made an official iPhone X announcement yet, meaning that we don’t have confirmation of pricing yet. Or launch, technically, but we are pretty certain that launches always happen when Apple says they will. Just a guess
