This is a 25-minute time lapse of the Lego Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS build

You’re never too old for Lego. Seriously, never too old. No matter what anyone tells you. Lego doesn’t get old either, it just gets harder to put together, as is the case with this Lego Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS build.

Seriously, this Lego Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a 2,704-piece construction, which you might think would take a while to put together. Just how long is evident is in this time-lapse video, which clocks in at over 25 minutes. We shudder to think how long the uncompressed video is.

The time-lapse video is a decent alternative to spending several days and around R5,500 on the Lego Porsche 911 GT3 RS, as you can see every detail of the build here first-hand (and at high speed). But it’s not really a substitute for constructing this yourself – and then keeping it far, far away from any kids that may want to take it apart. Which seems to run counter to Lego’s purpose but we’d be damned if we’d put this together a second time.
