More images of the Galaxy S7, S7 Edge leak ahead of MWC 2016

We love surprises. But we’re also okay with spoiling some of them if we can get our presents early. Which is a way of saying that we’ve been expecting these leaks, with still more to follow in the days running up to Samsung’s 21 February Galaxy S7 reveal in Barcelona. By that time Samsung’s persistent Galaxy S7 leak will likely have spoiled just about everything the company has to reveal.

We’ve already seen Samsung’s 2016 Galaxy flagship at least once and we’ve been following the specification breadcrumb trail since last year and this latest look at the handsets themselves seems to confirm most of what we’ve heard to date.

On the left is apparently Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge, with this particular model set for launch in China. The curved display is a bit of a giveaway, though we can’t really confirm any other details regarding the phone as yet. The benchmark score onscreen, which wanders into six digits, is cause for celebration if you’re due for an upgrade.

On the right is the rear view of what is supposedly the Galaxy S7 proper. They’ve slimmed down the camera, lending credence to the claims that Samsung have opted for a 12MP camera this year, and the design fits with previous leaks we’ve seen of the handset.

We’ve got our eyes peeled for more trickles from the Galaxy S7 Mobile World Congress dam. If we spot anything else, you’ll be the first to know.
