It’s a hard life, being a test-driver for Ferrari. Who are we kidding, it’s just about every male’s dream job and that’s probably why Ferrari test-driver Dario Benuzzi has held onto the job ever since he first got it way back in 1969. If you were going to spend 46 years in the same job, there are way worse ruts to fall into.
What you’re looking at, in the video above, is a day in the life of a Ferrari test-driver – though we’d be the first to admit that this is probably something exceptional. Benuzzi takes to the track in the Ferrari F40, F50, Enzo and, finally, the LaFerrari, providing some commentary on the cars as he traipses around the track at Fiorano. The awesome thing is that Benuzzi was on hand for initial testing of all the vehicles he finds himself in, so he’s certainly no stranger to them.
So now that you have someone new to be envious of, lets end off with something else new. The Ferrari 488 GTB and GTS Spider were recently spotted at Maranello and, obviously, captured on video. They’re definitely test cars, by the state of the bodywork, but that engine noise…
