Samsung’s next Unpacked event on 1 March teases a curved… something

What’s next from Samsung? The company themselves are teasing their latest Unpacked event, which will be taking place on 1 March this year, and it looks as though there are going to be some curves in store.

That is based upon the official teaser image released by the company, though there’s no indication of what it might be. It could be a curved smartphone, indeed Engadget notes that the curve resembles part of the Galaxy Note Edge. But the Edge has already been revealed so it’s likely to be something else.

The smart money is on the Galaxy S 6, which could feature similar lines to the Edge in at least one variant. It may also have something to do with a headset, perhaps the consumer version of the Gear VR, as the lines put us in mind of Microsoft’s own bit of headgear.

Either way, Samsung has something in store for all of us at the beginning of March. We’ll be watching for leaks but one way or another, we’ll know for sure in just under a month’s time.
