Microsoft wants your money this December. And to achieve this, the company has instituted a country-wide, all-retailers-included price drop for their Xbox One consoles that will lower the price by R500 per package and this drop is going to be valid until 24 December 2014.
Microsoft has said that an “…Xbox One bundled with FIFA 15, and the Limited Edition Sunset Overdrive console with Sunset Overdrive [is] now available at R5799. The 1T Call of Duty Limited edition console will be R6799, and the Xbox One Kinect bundle with Dance Spotlight and FIFA 15 will be R7499.”

So in the event that Santa is still deciding what to get you, or you’re thinking of getting into Microsoft’s next generation of gaming consoles (this year), now would be the time to do it. Or at least, that’s the impression we’re getting from the TV spot that Xbox SA has provided us (above).
Or, if you’re a Sony loyalist, you can get their PlayStation 4 console for the same base price of R5,799. That’s also a drop of R500 but it’s restricted to this Friday and Saturday (12 and 13 December) at “participating retailers”, reports SA Gamer. Let the war commence.
