Portal 2 is some distance behind us now, and if you find that you still have a hankering for the game, tabletop game publisher Crytozoic Entertainment might just have the thing for you,: the Portal boardgame.
Announced last week at the International Toy Fair, the game is called Portal: Uncooperative Cake Acquisition Game (the name isn’t final). The title admittedly does not exactly roll off the tongue, but the game is designed by the creators of Portal and Portal 2.
So far details are sketchy, but what we do know is that the game will include custom playing pieces any Portal fan worth their salt will enjoy: a test subject, sentry, cake and yes, the weighted Companion Cube.
Uncooperative Cake Acquisition Game will accommodate 2 to 4 players, and Cryptozoic is planning on releasing the game in the third quarter of 2014 for somewhere in the area of R540.
