Very shortly after HTC sent invites to a March event the surprise was spoiled a little by Twitter account @evleaks, which was able to leak several photographs of an updated-for-2014 HTC One.
Pictures of the HTC One, initially a gold product shot but followed by silver and gray versions of the phone, have been leaked, showing its dual-camera setup with a dual-colour LED flash. As The Verge points out, the visual indicates that HTC is placing a lot of faith in the mobile photography aspect of the new One.
Another interesting feature of the One that we can discern from the leaked series of images is the lack of any types of button on the front screen. Otherwise the One looks very much the same as its current versions.
This doesn’t tell us a whole lot about what is going on inside the new One but we’ll be keeping an eye on the official release and will keep you updated.
