The term ‘waterproof’ gets thrown around a lot, and normally it doesn’t really mean what we think it means. It’s usually slash-proof of water resistant or something equally not waterproof. Not so with Sony’s latest MP3 offering, the W Series Walkman.
The W Series is a rather basic MP3 player, yet Sony claims that it is truly waterproof, and decided to prove it by selling them from vending machines in water bottles, filled to the brim with, you guessed it, water.
