Activision and game developer Beenox will be launching the sequel to 2012’s movie tie-in game The Amazing Spider-Man a little later this year but they’ve just dropped the first gameplay trailer for the second title, showing off some of what your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man will be facing off against in the sequel.
By the look of things Spidey will still be able to roam New York in an open-worldish manner, beating up and/or webbing thugs to the pavement and from lamp posts. The Amazing Spider-Man 2’s storyline will probably be a little more serious than the first game (as serious as Peter Parker gets, anyhow) and will feature Kraven the Hunter giving Spidey some backup.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is planned for… almost every current gaming platform, the only thing missing from the list is the PlayStation 2.
