DStv launches new limited edition Walka 4.3

DStv knows that the festive season is just around the corner and that a lot of us will be away from home and in other locations which, perhaps, aren’t as connected as we’re accustomed to. But they still want us to watch their satellite television offering so the company’s DStv Mobile arm has announced a new, limited edition, Walka 4.3 for the holidays.

The new Walka features a 4.3-inch display and a battery life of 3.5 hours, according to DStv, and it is now available from a collection of South African retails. The recommended retail price for the mobile television set is R700.

DStv Digital Media CEO John Kotsaftis said in a statement “With the festive season just around the corner, we wanted to come up with a product that is fun and easy to use so that our subscribers don’t have to miss a moment of their favourite DStv shows as they go about their holiday activities.”

Just make sure that your holiday activities don’t take you too far afield. DStv’s mobile coverage is confined to ten cities in South Africa for the moment: Pretoria, Johannesburg, Polokwane, Bloemfontein, Durban, Rustenburg, Port Elizabeth, East London, Cape Town and Mbombela, according to DStv.
