Nokia’s Lumia 1520 all but confirmed by Chinese leak

Apple seems to be having a decent time of keeping tomorrow’s revelations locked down (so far) but Nokia’s Nokia World event, also set to take place tomorrow, is having a tougher time of it. Details of the rumoured Lumia 1520 from Nokia seem to have popped up on Tmall, an official Chinese Nokia online store.

There are no images in evidence for the handset but the specifications listed line up with details seen in previous rumours of the larger Lumia. Engadget reports that the 6-inch 1080p diplay is confirmed by the listing but the information available on the page at the moment seems to contradict that. The 6-inch display is in evidence but with a mere 1024 x 768 resolution. Of course, Stuff isn’t very well versed in Chinese so we might be looking at an incorrect listing (or the listing was altered after the initial report).

Other specs detailed by Engadget include a Snapdragon 800 processor and a 20 megapixel PureView camera, so the 1080p display is likely correct as well. For everything else, we’ll be keeping an eye on Nokia’s event in Abu Dhabi tomorrow.
