LG’s Optimus G2 will become official on 7 August

LG has been expected to make an announcement regarding the Optimus G2 smartphone for some time now and the company has finally met those expectations. The South Korean company will be unveiling their new Android handset, which is believed to (and probably will) have a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 5.2-inch HD display, and possibly a 13 megapixel camera, on 7 August.

LG has also released a teaser video ahead of the New York event early next month, as if large amounts of information have not been leaked regarding the phone already. The only official shot of the phone is seen at the end of the video, which focuses on how LG is “learning from you.”
